According to the LA.Wheelman’s Website:

The Lowland double century (200 miles) spends the most time along the comfortably cool coast. It travels up Pacific Coast Highway to Port Hueneme in Ventura County, inland to Moorpark, back out to the coast at Ventura, inland to Ojai for lunch, back to the coast at Rincon point at the very southwestern point in Santa Barbara County, south along PCH back to Port Hueneme rest stop, then back to the Start/Finish at Malibu. Total elevation gain is about 5,000 feet. See map and elevation profile below:

Long Beach notables meet at PCH & Warner (Jack n’Box) and depart at 7:15 to arrive at the Coffee Bean in time for coffee and pastries before the ride starts.  Click the link to the map below; “Point of Interest” A marks the start of the ride and shows the exact location.

A: Start, B: Tesla Climb (Big Ring), C: Newport Coast (Long Beach Crew continues north Home).

This ride has been a Southern California staple for eons of time.  Some say it was started by the same guys responsible for Como Street.
